RESEARCH
This is the stage where we will first research on colour palettes, develop inspirations to brainstorm to firm up a direction to develop.
CONCEPT
At this stage, after we have firmed up the direction, we will develop three (3) concepts with the appropriate colour palettes, each with a high-level mood board for each concept. Once the concept is decided, we will start developing the complete concept and two (2) mood board options.
At this stage, we will design the final concept and two (2) mood boards to discuss and confirm. At this stage, we will also plan the range (i.e. how many tops, dresses, etc that we would like), how they will match and depth of each product [Base on the budget for the project]
MOOD BOARD
Once we confirm the mood board, range depth, colour palette, we will start developing the products for the range and develop sketches for the different items in the range. From there, we will discuss on the range design constantly and rework and redevelop the products further. At this stage, we typically work on 3 - 4 redevelopment before arriving with the final range design.
